BLEPHAROPLASTY(EYELID SURGERY)
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is intended to refresh the appearance of the eyes by eliminating excess skin and fat. Blepharoplasty can treat sagging upper eyelids, puffy under-eye pouches, and in certain situations, peripheral vision loss due to sagging skin.
Benefits:
- Gives the eyes a more rested and youthful look
- Can improve certain vision concerns
- May enhance overall facial harmony
After Care:
This procedure is generally done under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, as chosen by the patient and the case in hand. Patients usually experience less swelling and bruising within two weeks. Minimal downtime is necessary, with close aftercare to facilitate healing.
RHINOPLASTY (NOSE SURGERY)
Rhinoplasty consists of reshaping or resizing the nose to enhance facial harmony or to repair structural defects that impair breathing. Patients seek rhinoplasty for cosmetic purposes, functional purposes, or both.
Benefits:
- Improves nasal symmetry and profile
- Corrects breathing difficulties caused by a deviated septum
- Enhances facial proportions and self-confidence
After Care:
The operation is typically done under general anesthesia. Healing involves the use of a nasal splint for approximately a week, and swelling decreases dramatically in the ensuing few weeks. End results become more noticeable as the nose continues to shape up over a period of several months.
BREAST AUGMENTATION AND REDUCTION SURGERIES
Breast Augmentation: Involves using implants or fat transfer to enhance breast size and shape.
Breast Reduction: Removes excess breast tissue and skin to alleviate discomfort and achieve a more proportionate breast size.
Benefits:
- Breast Augmentation can restore volume lost after pregnancy or weight loss, and improve body contour
- Breast Reduction relieves neck, back, and shoulder pain caused by overly large breasts and improves mobility and comfort
After Care:
Both procedures are performed under general anesthesia. Recovery times vary depending on the extent of surgery. Generally, patients can return to light activities in a couple of weeks, with full healing taking a few months.
LIP REVISION SURGERIES
Lip revision procedures are designed to fix congenital abnormalities like cleft lips, and drooping lip asymmetry, or correct the results of past lip surgery. They also serve to repair cosmetic issues like thinning or asymmetrical lips.
Benefits:
- Improves lip symmetry and contour
- Can restore function in cases involving congenital defects or scar tissue
- Boosts overall facial harmony and self-esteem
After Care:
Lip resections are commonly performed under sedation with local anesthesia or general anesthesia based on complexity. Several days bruising and swelling may follow. Careful postoperative attention fosters optimal results and healing.
ABDOMINOPLASTY (TUMMY TUCK) AND FAT LIPOSUCTION
Abdominoplasty: Removes loose skin and tightens abdominal muscles for a firmer, flatter midsection.
Liposuction: Removes excess fat deposits from the abdomen, flanks, thighs, or arms.
Benefits:
- Improves body contours and silhouette
- Can address loose or sagging skin post-weight loss or pregnancy
- Liposuction helps sculpt areas resistant to diet and exercise
After Care:
Done under general anesthesia, the procedures take a different amount of time to recover from based on the degree of correction. They usually wear compression garments and return to normal activity in approximately 2–4 weeks.
MALE BREAST SURGERIES (GYNECOMASTIA CORRECTION)
Gynecomastia surgery reduces enlarged male breasts (gynecomastia) by removing excess glandular tissue, fat, and/or skin. It often involves liposuction, direct tissue excision, or both.
Benefits:
- Restores a flatter, more masculine chest contour
- Improves body confidence
- Alleviates discomfort from excess breast tissue
After Care:
Typically an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia, most patients experience minimal discomfort afterward. A compression garment helps with swelling, and light activities can resume in a week or two.
FACELIFT SURGERIES
Facelift surgery (rhytidectomy) tightens facial muscles, repositions underlying tissues, and removes excess skin to reduce deep wrinkles and sagging. It targets signs of aging on the lower face and neck area.
Benefits:
- Reduces jowls and deep folds
- Improves facial contour and definition
- Achieves a youthful, natural-looking refresh
After Care:
Usually performed under general anesthesia, a facelift can be combined with other procedures like blepharoplasty or a brow lift. Full results appear as swelling subsides in a few weeks, with final refinement over a few months.
BROW LIFT AND THREAD LIFT SURGERIES
Browlift: Lifts the eyebrows and minimizes forehead lines.
Threadlift: A minimally invasive treatment with dissolvable threads to lift and tighten specific face areas.
Benefits:
- Creates a more open and rested upper facial appearance
- Smooths out deep forehead or frown lines
- Thread Lift can delay or complement a more extensive surgical procedure
After Care
Browlifts may be performed endoscopically or through tiny incisions concealed in the hairline. Thread lifts are usually performed under local anesthesia. Healing times differ: browlift patients can take several weeks for swelling to clear; thread lift patients tend to have faster results with minimal downtime.
NECK AND CHIN CONTOURING SURGERIES
A neck lift, chin augmentation, and other procedures are done to Define Jawline and correct sagging neck skin or a receded chin. Liposuction is also employed to eliminate resistant fat buildup in the neck region.
Benefits:
- Enhances the facial profile
- Improves balance between facial features
- Tightens and smooths the neck region
After Care:
Depending on the technique, surgery can be performed with local anesthesia and sedation or general anesthesia. Incisions are made in hidden areas, i.e., behind the ears or under the chin, for reduced scarring. Most patients recover within 2–4 weeks with long-term results.
ARM/THIGH LIPOSUCTION AND REDUCTION SURGERIES
These surgeries remove excess fat and skin from the thighs or arms to provide a more defined profile. They are done using liposuction on their own or in combination with a surgical lift, depending on the amount of sagging.
Benefits:
- Reduces skin laxity and bulk in the arms or thighs
- Creates a more proportional and toned appearance
- Improves confidence when wearing fitted or sleeveless clothing
After Care:
Done under general anesthesia, high or arm lift are performed under general anesthesia, involve discreet incisions to minimize visible scarring. Post-surgery, wearing compression garments supports healing and helps reduce swelling. Compression clothing is used for a few weeks to help healing and diminish swelling.
FAT GRAFTING
Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer, is a cosmetic procedure that uses your own body fat to restore volume, smoothen contours, and enhance areas like the face, hands, breasts, or buttocks. Fat is harvested from regions with excess fat (such as the abdomen or thighs), purified, and then re-injected into target areas to provide a natural, youthful appearance. It offers the dual advantage of reducing fat in one area and adding fullness to another.
Benefits:
- Restores natural volume to cheeks, lips, and under-eye hollows
- Enhances breast or buttock shape without implants
- Improves skin texture and smooths out contour irregularities or scars
- Rejuvenates aging hands by adding fullness
- Reduces fine lines and facial wrinkles with your body’s own fat
After Care:
- Expect mild swelling and bruising in both the donor and injection sites for 1–2 weeks
- Wear compression garments over the donor areas to aid healing
- Avoid pressure on grafted areas (e.g., don’t sleep on your face if facial fat was transferred)
- Light activity can resume in a few days; avoid strenuous exercise for 2–4 weeks
- Monitor the area and contact your surgeon if signs of infection (redness, warmth, discharge) appear
FAT LIPOSUCTION
Fat liposuction is a body-contouring procedure that removes unwanted fat from specific areas such as the abdomen, thighs, arms, or chin. It targets fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise, helping to create a more sculpted and balanced physique. Liposuction is not for weight loss but is ideal for refining body shape and enhancing proportion.
Benefits:
- Removes stubborn fat pockets and reshapes your figure
- Enhances body contours in areas like the waist, hips, arms, and thighs
- Improves clothing fit and body confidence
- Permanent removal of fat cells in treated areas
- Can be combined with other procedures like fat grafting for full-body sculpting
After Care:
- Swelling, bruising, and soreness may last a few weeks
- Compression garments should be worn for 4–6 weeks to support healing
- Walking is encouraged soon after surgery; avoid heavy activity for several weeks
- Follow all post-operative wound care instructions
- Contact your surgeon if unusual symptoms like redness, fever, or drainage occur
